About Us
At TOPSIM we look back on more than 40 years of experience, during which we have already implemented over 150 simulations with a great deal of commitment.
Our Story
The beginnings of TOPSIM go back to the business game manufacturer UNICON, which was founded in 1982 by Prof. Bernt Högsdal in Meersburg on Lake Constance. In 1990, the development of the TOPSIM series was started and a completely new field was opened up with business simulation games for universities.
In 2000, Dr. Georg Fehling and Dr. Nils Högsdal take over responsibility for TOPSIM from Prof. Dr. Bernt Högsdal and Irmtraut Albert as managing partners. Furthermore, the new office in Tübingen is opened up. Business games are increasingly embedded in holistic education and training solutions and used together with e-learning applications.
Since July 2018 we have MPS Limited as a new strategic partner at our side. MPS, a leading global provider of platforms as well as content and learning solutions for the digital world, was established as an Indian subsidiary of Macmillan (Holdings) Limited in 1970.
