What is Management Essentials?
In this business simulation participants take on the role of management of a business and make decisions in the areas of production, sales, human resources, administration and finance. A special feature: Two scenarios with different levels of difficulty are available for this management simulation.
- The entry level scenario depicts the business environment of a small, traditional outdoor tents manufacturing company. Participants control the above mentioned areas to help their business achieve economic success.
- The second easyManagement scenario is all about the production and distribution of backpacks. Here, participants can expand their business to a second market throughout the simulation. Overall, there are a few extra decisions to make in this scenario, which adds complexity to the entry level.
Most and foremost, this simulation is intended to convey basic business knowledge and help participants to familiarize themselves with overall business contexts. During a seminar with Management Essentials, participants experience first-hand the basics of production management. They learn how to handle market reports, gain insights into the value chain and train decision-making in the team.
